Community Benefit Fund: Applications
Applications for funding may be submitted by anyone resident and registered on the electoral roll or from groups, organisations or businesses with a registered address on Islay, Jura or Colonsay. Projects should provide clear benefit to individuals and / or the wider community of Islay, Jura and Colonsay.
Apply to the Community Benefit Fund
There is a two-stage application process for funding, the first of which is the submission of an Expression of Interest form.
You can download an expression of interest form
or pop in to our office at Custom House, Main Street, Bowmore, to pick up a paper version (copies available in the plastic wallet on the door if the office is unstaffed).
If you have trouble downloading the Word version of the form you can download a PDF version of the expression of interest form.
Completed forms can be returned to our Bowmore Office or emailed to billy.sinclair@islayenergytrust.org.uk.
What happens next
Once your expression of interest has been assessed, you may will be informed about whether it is being taken to the second stage. If your application is being progressed, you will be asked for more information, specific to your project, at this stage.
